What’s Hot

Detective Comics #1004

Arkham Knight’s identity will finally be revealed. The buildup to this issue has been mounting for a couple of months. Definitely grab cover A if you have to choose.

Radically Rearranged Ronin Ragdolls

This and Drawing Blood Spilled Ink #1 are a combo hit this week, but I’m definitely more stoked for the Radically Rearranged Ronin Ragdolls, by the great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles creator, Kevin Eastman.

Must Read

Road of Bones #1

This may go a bit under the radar as IDW is best known for its licensed and kid-friendly titles. The synopsis sounds amazing and, if this were an Image or AfterShock property, would be an easy sell-out.

Venom #14

Following the previous issue which debuted Savage Venom, I need more! The War of the Realms tie-in probably won’t have long-term impact before Cates returns, but its still a must read. And both covers are blazing!

Action Comics #1011

The Leviathan saga has been red hot and the story all comes to an arc in Action Comics #1011 that promises long-term ramifications.

Goon #2

It was announced this past week that The Goon movie is officially in development at Fox. This book would be hot even without the announcement, but the announcement will make this book even more in demand.

Miles Morales Spider-Man #6

There’s some bite to this issue with the first full appearance of Starling.

The War of the Realms Strikeforce The Land of Giants #1

The War of the Realms tie-ins have all been really good and the synopsis sounds promising.

Blazing Covers

Venom #14 (Cover B Maxx Lim Marvel Battle Lines Variant)

Wonder Woman #71 (Jenny Frison Variant)

Marvel Comics Presents #5

Batgirl #35 (Middleton Variant)

Asgardians of the Galaxy #9 (Maxx Lim Marvel Battle Lines Variant)

Flash #71 (Cover B Derrick Chew)

Could be Cool

Star Wars: Galaxy Edge #2

Be on the look out for more first appearances in issue number two after a well-received first issue.

Silencer #17

The second to last issue of a series that never quite took off, but definitely has rebound potential in the future. This character has all the makings of the next new hotness in comics. If DC invested the resources into this character as it has done others, it may have been a success. This issue is the buildup to the final issue out next month.

Incursion #4 (of 4)

Valiant Entertainment’s miniseries has been really good and wraps up with issue #4.
